Free Five Friday

Flamingos and botanical was on the request list for this week. I had never looked for flamingos before, so I was not sure what I would find. Two of these files would make great bird-themed faux stamps!! The last file would make a great bookmark or long tag. I hope you enjoy these vintage treasures! Happy crafting! 💗🦩🌸🌹🍊

My very first request was for squirrels! Not much out there in the way of the fluffy-tailed rodents! But it did bring back a lot of fond memories! When I was growing up, my dad was a logger, and my cousin ended up with a baby squirrel he named Squeaky. He fed it with a dropper, and it grew into a hefty little critter, riding around on his shoulder. He would bring the squirrel to our house during the winter when we were all snowed in, and my family would sit up all night playing Monopoly. My mother would make homemade yeast doughnuts, and we'd sit by the fire all cozy and warm. Squeaky would curl up in my dad's furry winter hat and sleep while we passed Go and collected $200. 😉😴💰☃⛄✄🍩

Hello fellow crafters! I just ordered myself a long zoom lens for my camera, and it got me to thinking about what I would like to photograph with it, so today's freebies are a diverse collection of animals that I thought befitting for this time of year. Many of us would rather be at the beach than the forests or mountains, so even the little sea birds are appropriate, even though they have been extinct since 1911. 😔 Hope you enjoy these and are able to use them in your craft projects! 🐀🐾📷✂✏

I find that I really enjoy looking for patterned papers. All the different designs and colors are unique, one-of-a-kind ephemera. These would make great writing pages for journals, base images to build mixed media on, cutouts, pockets, tucks, and tags of all shapes. The ideas are endless! I share these files and more in The Repository  so take a look for other files I share there Monday thru Friday. Happy crafting!! ⏳✂✏📕📖📜

This week wraps up all the original images chosen to share as free files. Next week is my birthday, so I have a treat for you. I have found a few garden catalog covers that I think you will all love! In the meantime, here are more botanical plates and and a squash. Enjoy!

Another busy week has come and gone. So busy, in fact, that I almost forgot to post this blog! This week, I am sharing some botanical plates. Not the breakable kind, lol! Enjoy these in your paper craft projects!

Today's goodies are a mixed bag: a receipt with a photo of a rose overlayed onto it, a botanical book plate, and three handwriting samples. Hope you enjoy these!
