For me growing up, summertime was usually when we got to experience things like the circus, fair or carnival. Or see the latest movie at the theater. Here are a few images of what someone might have gone to in the summers of yesteryear. 👀🤡🎪🎬🎷🎼🎻🎹🎭🎨🎥

July comes in with a bang. Independence Day. The day we of the USA celebrate our freedom as a nation. This is a day that should never be forgotten or be taken lightly. Also in July: school's out, it's hot, and it's time for vacations. Trips to the beach, baking in the sun. Going to the mountains, camping, staying out late and catching fireflies. 

Another wedding theme based on sheet music covers. I made these files a little bigger so they could be used as covers or half-page prints in most journal sizes. Enjoy! Happy crafting! 🔔✂✏👗📜📝

  I spent all this week at my parent's house while my daughter was in town. My mother has bird houses on her porch with blue birds, wrens and indigo buntings nesting right in front of her windows. I have spent a lot of the week watching them building nests and flitting back and forth. Another rainy Friday, at least in these five free files. On a different note, Google has informed me that the 'subscribe by email' feature for their blog service is going away in July. There is nothing quite so satisfying as an afternoon cup of hot tea when the weather is cool. And there is also nothing quite like a tall glass of ice cold tea on a hot day. Either way, tea illustrations add another dimension to our journaling ephemera. Enjoy, ladies, and happy crafting! 💛🍵🥤⛾🌿
