Good Old Summertime

Image
For me growing up, summertime was usually when we got to experience things like the circus, fair or carnival. Or see the latest movie at the theater. Here are a few images of what someone might have gone to in the summers of yesteryear. πŸ‘€πŸ€‘πŸŽͺ🎬🎷🎼🎻🎹🎭🎨πŸŽ₯

Wildlife Adventures

What would summer be without a few wildlife adventures while out camping or hiking. Seeing an animal in the wild can be the highlight of a summer trip. Here is a small selection of critters that would be great in a nature or animal themed journal. Happy crafting! 🐦🐻🐺🐾✂πŸ“š

Summer Adventures

Summertime for me, when I was growing up, was all about camping. We camped for 2 or 3 weeks at a time up in the mountains next to the Blue Ridge Parkway. We'd play in creeks, pick berries, eat biscuits made in a cast iron pan over a fire. Life was so simple back then! Here are a few summer adventure scenes to round out your stash. By the Sea Shore

Image
Summer usually means vacations, and one place a lot of people go is the beach. So here are a few vintage illustrations of life on the beach back in the olden days. 'Under the boardwalk, down by the sea, on a blanket with my baby, is where I'll be' ...... That's the tune in my head! πŸ–⛱πŸ„πŸŒŠ πŸ‘™πŸ‘£⚓πŸ›₯🏊🩱

In With a Bang

Image
July comes in with a bang. Independence Day. The day we of the USA celebrate our freedom as a nation. This is a day that should never be forgotten or be taken lightly. Also in July: school's out, it's hot, and it's time for vacations. Trips to the beach, baking in the sun. Going to the mountains, camping, staying out late and catching fireflies.
