Free Five Friday

Within the definition of eclectic, I searched and found some unique brochure covers and an illustration that are just fabulous! I love the colors and designs of the covers. I made two versions of the illustration, with and without the typography. I hope you enjoy creating with these as much as I enjoyed finding them!! Happy crafting !! 😁💜👀🎀✂💌📍📜

This blog post is running late!! Today has been a busy day. (Actually, the whole week has been!) But, there is the old cliche` Better late than never! Today's offering are two advertising goodies from a magazine, dated in the 1800's. Two gorgeous men's hat adverts, in the original blue and a sepia version. The catalog cover this week features a group of women and a nasturtium. This would make a great tag or journaling card, and comes in the three variations that I think most creatives can use. I have also included a great page of advertising in two versions of sepia. I have also created an fb group to share these files en masse . I have also created an account on cluster(.)com, added a group on Mewe(.)com, and have made a shareable album in my Google photos. It is an experiment to see what works best. I have been diving headfirst into gorgeous vintage illustrations and images, and thoroughly enjoying all that I am finding. I found these great covers from sheet music, showing dancing scenes that are perfect for using in all your paper crafts. You should be dancing, yeah, all the way to the printer! 

This week I have been working on garden and seed catalog covers and pages, and I am thrilled to share a few with you. For those who liked the D.M. Ferry Seed illustration that I titled Hollyhock Girl , I found her sister, Basket Girl. Have fun with these colorful illustrations!

This times are certainly crazy right now, with this worldwide virus slowing everything down to a snail's pace. I will be glad when things begin to return to normal, but without the rat race, hopefully. In the meantime, I am curating images to share with creators out there like myself whose funds are allocated to needful things like food, water and electricity. Happy crafting!
