Nothing But Time

Image
With a new month, and the beginning of the spring season, where everything is new , I have decided to do monthly themes. So, the month of March is going to be time . So, here are five catalog pages with advertisements for time-related businesses. Have a great time with these, and happy crafting!!! ❤✂⌚⌛⏰⏳✏

Five Florals

Image
Today I am sharing some vintage floral illustrations and the back covers of a couple of seed catalogs. It doesn't matter what time of year it is, flowers are always a bright spot in any craft project. These are especially pretty with their Victorian styling and typography. Hope you all enjoy these! Happy crafting! Remember to stop by The Repository for more free goodies. 👀❤💙💚💛💜✂✉✏🎁

Birds By Request

Image
So, I did a poll in the group to see what people were looking for, and I have a few subjects to search for. Today's offerings are a couple of vintage bird images and illustrations. My next search will include vintage photography, so look for that next week. In the meantime, I'll keep looking for requested items, and have more to add in the coming weeks. The poll is still open, so drop by The Repository and put in your comments if you are looking for something particular. Happy crafting!! 💚😁📎✂✏📏

Hats & Portraits

Image
This blog post is running late!! Today has been a busy day. (Actually, the whole week has been!) But, there is the old cliche` Better late than never! Today's offering are two advertising goodies from a magazine, dated in the 1800's. Two gorgeous men's hat adverts, in the original blue and a sepia version. Also an ad for household art, in a whole page and just the images. Also remember to visit/join The Repository for more free goodies every week. Happy crafting!!

At the Market & Worn Book Cover

Image
Since I don't 'do' the typical holidays that most people do, I thought I would share a representation of the fall seasonal with a market harvest. Those who make gardens are gathering in the crops this time of year. As usual, there are three versions: bright, faded, and sepia. Along with that are a front and back book cover, worn and raggedy, that would make a great base for dark themes. Be sure and check out The Repository for more great freebies. Happy crafting!  ✒✂💌📖📚

More Double Page Ephemera Fun

Image
I, for one, am a great fan of vintage advertising. Not only are they an interesting read (like why some contraptions are not made anymore) but they have some unique illustrations to help sell their product. So, I decided to share another five of these double paged ads, since the response was so good last week. Enjoy!

Double Page Advertisements

Image
This week I have found some double-page adverts from a late 1800's catalog. I have made them to print out a full 8.5 inches wide and 5.5 inches tall. So, they would be great as signature centers, or smaller pages within a signature. Or they can be cut in two to make tags, pockets, or a host of other ephemera. Be sure to hop over to  The Repository  for more freebies. In addition to the free five on Friday, I am now sharing 3 png (transparent stamp) files each Monday. They live on a page of the blog called  The Stamp Stockroom . Plus, I am sharing some of my free textures, backgrounds, and ephemera I have designed on the other days. Happy crafting! 💚💛💡📁📕📖📜🎨✀📏

Rose Doorway, Piano Advert & Cabbage

Image
Hello everyone. Another free 5 coming at you this Friday morning. Three versions of a rose-covered doorway, a vintage color advert for pianos and organs, and a field full of cabbage with a horse-drawn carriage to boot. These could be tags, journaling cards, journal pages, or anything else journal-related. Have fun!!
