Free Five Friday

July comes in with a bang. Independence Day. The day we of the USA celebrate our freedom as a nation. This is a day that should never be forgotten or be taken lightly. Also in July: school's out, it's hot, and it's time for vacations. Trips to the beach, baking in the sun. Going to the mountains, camping, staying out late and catching fireflies.

  I spent all this week at my parent's house while my daughter was in town. My mother has bird houses on her porch with blue birds, wrens and indigo buntings nesting right in front of her windows. I have spent a lot of the week watching them building nests and flitting back and forth. Flamingos and botanical was on the request list for this week. I had never looked for flamingos before, so I was not sure what I would find.
