Free Five Friday

Flamingos and botanical was on the request list for this week. I had never looked for flamingos before, so I was not sure what I would find. Today I am sharing some vintage floral illustrations and the back covers of a couple of seed catalogs. It doesn't matter what time of year it is, flowers are always a bright spot in any craft project. These are especially pretty with their Victorian styling and typography. Hope you all enjoy these! Within the definition of eclectic, I searched and found some unique brochure covers and an illustration that are just fabulous! I love the colors and designs of the covers. I made two versions of the illustration, with and without the typography. I hope you enjoy creating with these as much as I enjoyed finding them!! Happy crafting !! 😁💜👀🎀✂💌📍📜

I find that I really enjoy looking for patterned papers. All the different designs and colors are unique, one-of-a-kind ephemera. These would make great writing pages for journals, base images to build mixed media on, cutouts, pockets, tucks, and tags of all shapes. The ideas are endless! In my ramblings this week, I found these gorgeous patterned papers that I just had to share. I know, technically, the first two are book covers, but it's the pattern that is so unique. These would make great tags, backgrounds for mixed media, pockets - you name it! Have fun with these patterns, and create something beautiful!
